A “living archive” (Rhodes, 2014) is a collection of materials presented in a way that allows for the expression, exhibition, documentation and preservation of a sentiment or movement in a particular community. A living archive refers to practices and environments that connect the organization, curation, and transmission of memory with the present-bound context. It involves curating and preserving materials or knowledge that may not easily fit within existing institutional collections.
