For the A4 Art Book Fair in 2022, the Archive participated with the live interactive project Chatting into a Book. This year, we will continue our live production work style with the live interactive creative project Love Hate Love Hate.

Who is your favorite person?

Who is the person you hate the most?

Does it make you hesitate to put it on paper?

Project Overview

▌Four days into the book fair, from April 6 to 9, the Archives booth D-A3, located on the second floor of the Museum of Fine Arts, will be set up with a rather ceremonial step pyramid structure, with a drop box placed at the top. Participants will walk up the steps to the top and write the name of their favorite or most hated person on pieces of paper, one word per piece of paper, and place them in the drop box when they are finished.
▌The pieces of paper in the drop box on the first three days will be given to a singer, a poet, and a calligrapher successively on that day, and the three will chant, write, and form poems based on the content of the pieces of paper. ……
▌On April 9, before the end of the book fair, from 17:30-18:30, in the Action 2 area in the center of the second floor of the Museum of Fine Arts, there will be a performance of the results of the project Love Hate Hate. A poet will appear to recite a poem, a calligrapher will present a tablet, after that, pieces of paper with surnames and first names written on the day of the 9th will be distributed to the audience on the spot, and each person will write the words on the pieces of paper they are holding onto an A4-sized canvas centrally, and lastly a musician will perform a song live.
