UP-ON Domitory, as a supporting organization of the non-profit UP-ON Upward Bound Performance Art Archive, mainly provides free lodging for guests participating in the archive’s activities. more than half a year has passed since its trial operation on May 15, 2023, and the feedback has been positive. at the beginning of 2024, with the good fortune of the snow, it began to provide lodging services on a targeted basis (only receiving guests recommended by friends). Revenue from the Fatty Hostel will be credited to the UP-ON Upward Performance Art Archive’s operating expenses.

About UPON dormitory
1. The name of the dormitory in Chinese and English is written by the first Chinese performance art artist Frog King (Guo Menghao).
2. The dormitory’s living room and reading room contains a wealth of books and literature on performance art.
3. The indoor area of the dormitory is 70 square meters, with two rooms and one living room. A 50 square meter roof garden (under renovation) is available for tea, sun, moon, and small parties.
4. The dormitory is equipped with facilities for daily life and office work, including a washing machine, air conditioner, refrigerator, projector, WIFI, and kitchen equipment.
5. The dormitory is located in the heart of the city, in the Yulin neighborhood, with a quiet courtyard and easy access to the subway. The surrounding area is not only the old city district, but also a hot spot for literary and artistic cards.
6. The dormitory is located on the seventh floor, without elevator.
About accommodation requirements and charges
1. The dormitory only receives guests recommended by friends to stay in the dormitory, and is not open to the public.
2. During the period of stay, daily hygiene needs to be taken care of by self-help.
3. The dormitory has single rooms with queen-size beds and standard rooms with high and low beds. Single room: 160 yuan (1.5 m king-size bed) / night; standard room: 120 yuan / bed (1.5 + 1.2 m high and low beds)
